About the Inventor:
David Chodosh is the inventor of The Fizz™ and founder of Jonzo, Inc., a product design and development company located in Manhattan Beach, Calif. With more than 18 years of design experience in toys and housewares, David has created new products for Hallmark, Mattel Toys, Hasbro, Burger King, among others. His designs have been distributed at mass-market stores and quick service restaurants throughout North America, Europe and Japan.
David created The Fizz™ as a way to put a fun new spin on an all-American classic: the root beer float. He sought a way to simplify the process of making a soda float, at the same time making it more fun to drink. His concept was to devise a “mixing chamber” that would separate the ingredients and allow the float drinker to mix them as desired, and also make it fun visually as the soda mixes with the ice cream to create an eruption of foam. After many experiments and prototypes, he arrived at design that was both innovative and easy to produce.
